Motivation

"When your "WHY" is greater than your "HOW", you become unstoppable"! Sometimes we cheat because we "can't control the urge", but I just realized it's because we lose sight of the "why". I did terrible this weekend, but I am focused and I will complete this 20 day diet successfully and accurately. Why? Well, because I made a promise to myself that by my 25th birthday I would no longer be obese. I chose to take charge of my life and change the things I know that I can. I understood that weight and size is not just cosmetic, but it is also health. I refuse to buy bigger clothes, because I'm a stylish girl and I do not need to settle for less fashion because I am big. Every time I get hungry (after I've already eaten), anxious, or depressed I will NOT reach for that ice cream. I am NOT missing workouts because I am tired or because it's too late. If I can stay out late on the weekends to party, then surely I can go to bed late to work out. If I can sabotage my diet for an insignificant craving, then of coarse I can commit to a plan that will give me results. Life may get in the way but that is NO excuse! It's time you did something for YOU! Why, you ask? Because you're WORTH it!

Day 4- Chata Tubilla Diet

Hello0o0o people! Well, I think I am doing good. On the first day I did good up until Diner time I ate rice and means with fried pork chop. Bad, I know. Plus I had Moscato that night. I woke up a little hung over so i had crackers (salt less) with Gator aid. Then for lunch I had McDonald's grilled snack wrap and 10 pc chicken nuggets; which by the way was nasty ass hell. Day three was a success and I feel today will be good also. I'm on Day four and still adjusting to the meal plan. I am hungry in the mornings because I'm used to having a well balanced breakfast. Just eating oranges isn't cutting it for me lol, but I will try my best to continue on that path. Also, I've found that although this diet has its specifics you can eat something different everyday. For example, for lunch one day I had an oven baked steak with steamed carrots, a slice of whole wheat bread and a side salad. Another day I had tuna with a slice of whole wheat bread, raw carrots, and a salad. I stick to the orange and apple routine, but just know you can mix things up. You can even have a wrap for lunch if you make it with all the requirements; like you can do a whole wheat peta with lettuce tuna and sliced carrots or even a chicken wrap with lettuce and pumpkin mash! mmmm!! Yummy! Speaking of pumpkin mash its simple, just boil the pumpkin for a few minutes until its soft. Then, add a dash of black pepper, dash of sea salt, and a teaspoon of butter. It's so good. This works out perfect for me because it calms my cravings for sweets. I think I need a cheat meal so on Sunday morning I am cheating with my breakfast! I'll keep it as healthy as I can. If you friend me on www.myfitnesspal.com you can actually follow everything I eat on there. I also have a Twitter account, so follow me: @iceybitz. :)  Moving forward with the working out. I had an awesome workout yesterday I did an hour of Zumba. It was a really good workout I recommend it to all! Please subscribe to my blog, follow me on Twitter, and comment. Thanks!

Chata Tubilla Diet

I'm going to be starting this one next week when I go grocery shopping. Who wants to try it with me?
You're supposed to lose 10-15 lbs in 20 days. This is the one I did for my pictures.

Breakfast- 2 oranges (split into four pieces), coffee or tea
Lunch- meat, chicken, or fish (grilled), carrots or pumpkins (steamed or raw), 1 slice of whole wheat bread, 1 apple
Afternoon snack:  1 fruit (avoid bananas and mangos)
Diner- a lean protein (grilled) [note: alternate proteins if you had chicken for lunch have fish for diner, etc], 1 apple or sugar free jello

Good luck!

New site...

So, first things first let me update you. I am currently at 250 lbs! Yes you read it correctly. How did I gain it back? Simple. I was not working out and I was eating sweets again. So, now I have to start all over again. I was 252 when I noticed I gained it back. Sine then i have lost 2lbs and 2.5 inches; and that was last month. I am truly going to step up my game this month. I did start working out in May and started the gym in June. I was doing 30 minute workouts 3 times a week. Now, I'd like to do 45 minutes 3 times a week. I always try to do more, but that is my goal. I found an old book in Spanish (Dietas y Recetas de Maria Antonieta) and found it very useful. I did a diet when I was getting ready to take my quince anera pictures and lost 15 lbs in a month. I am definitely going to update my meal plan to that diet. So look out for that. It even has detox diets, because we all know the other ones didn't work out so well for me lol. I'll also post the detox diets as well as new recipes and stuff. In addition, I did my yearly physical and all my labs were perfect. This is definitely a motivation to drop the weight before I encounter any serious health issues. We have to remember the reasons why we took this step to lose weight and that should help keep us grounded. So, on to the new stuff. My friend Lee told me about a website that allows you to track your food, exercise, and water. It's great! You can meet others that are trying to lose weight just like you! I find it helpful because although your family supports your efforts towards weight loss they sometimes don't understand the things you go through. They don't understand that you are making a life changing commitment to better yourself. They don't understand what took you so long to start. They don't understand the bumps in the road. They don't understand your struggle. If you didn't have all those things to deal with then you wouldn't be over weight now would you? This place has a lot of helpful things, so go check it out: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/
